OREANDA-NEWS. May 08, 2013. A responsible person from the China Development Bank (CDB) has refuted recent media claims that relevant government auditing departments have interviewed a number of the senior leaders at the CDB in relation to the recently exposed bond market scandal.

CDB has stated that the organization does not have any personnel or business activities associated with this scandal and the bank’s practices have not breached any laws or regulations.

The responsible person also emphasized that the CDB has a comprehensive policy framework and risk management system. Its financial bond issuance activities have obtained all necessary approvals, in compliance the regulatory process and meet all requirements from regulatory authorities.
