OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2013. The Government of the Orenburg Region and VTB Bank have signed a cooperation agreement to promote the region’s socio-economic development.

The agreement, which was signed by First Vice Governor and First Deputy Chairman of the Orenburg Region Government Sergei Balykin and Deputy President and Chairman of VTB Bank Management Board Mikhail Oseevskiy, provides for the bank’s involvement in joint investment programmes, support for innovation development of the regional industrial complex, and cooperation on priority social projects, including in the area of healthcare and housing and utilities.

The bank will also help to develop a system for crediting local enterprises, including those operating under regional programmes of support for small and medium-sized businesses.
