OREANDA-NEWS. Constructive workers of the Titan-2 holding company have installed cast-in parts of the turbine plant seating, scraped them and de-dusted the surface at +16 m mark, where the main process equipment of the turbine building will be positioned.

Concreting of floors in the machinery room of the 1st energetic block at the NPP under construction is the next task for the constructive workers of JSC UAT, a daughter company of the holding.

Earlier, lighting facilities had been installed in the machinery room. They include three lighting cabinets, 99 suspended lamps etc. Power of the lighting plant makes 4 kWt, total square of the room lighted - 6.000 m2.

The launch of the turbine plant installation is one of the most important events of the year. The launch of the turbine plant installation, preceded by several months of careful preparation, is one of the most important events occurring this year at the site of the nuclear plant. The installation itself shall also take a long while and shall be performed by JSC MSU-90 in strict compliance with the requirements of the industrial safety.
