OREANDA-NEWS. 'Expert RA' rating agency assigned 'Taurus Bank' creditworthiness rating B++, which means acceptable credit solvency, the rating outlook is stable. The stable outlook means high probability of maintaining the rating in the mid-term.

'Expert RA' analysts highlight the moderately high loan debt quality and low reliance of the resource base on the major lenders' funds as the key factors having a positive impact on the Bank rating. A good balance of assets and liabilities, by their maturities, in the 12+ months term and the low probability of major payments in the rating period support the rating.

Low capital adequacy of Н1=10.8%, according to Basle requirements Н1.0=10.6% as of November 1, 2013, is the main factor having a negative impact on the Bank's creditworthiness. In addition, the absolute capital amount is less than RUB 300 million, which does not meet the legal requirements that are to take effect on January 1, 2015. Low business profitability ratios have a major impact on the capital: under RAS for 9 months 2013, ROE=-28.6% in annual terms, which is largely due to creation of the provisions for possible loan losses.
