OREANDA-NEWS. Lada Largus CNG, the engine of which runs on both gasoline and compressed natural gas, was presented at the Third International Eurasian Forum "Taxi."

According to the portal "Kolesa.ru", the project to produce 300 "pilot" bi-fuel Lada Largus CNG cars is realized under the memorandum of cooperation between the companies AVTOVAZ, "Gazprom gas fuel" and "ATS- Service", which specializes in re-equipment of cars by installing LPG equipment. The project aims to expand the range of domestic vehicles that run on natural gas.

As noted, the choice of the gas model Lada Largus CNG allow the private car owners to save significantly on fuel and transport companies can increase the efficiency of business operations.

Recall, a memorandum on cooperation in the use of natural gas as a motor fuel between AvtoVAZ, "Gazprom gas fuel", "ATS-service" and the Government of Samara Region was signed on July 17th, 2015. As part of the signing of the memorandum it was introduced at first the bi-fuel AvtoVAZ Lada Largus CNG and Granta CNG.
