OREANDA-NEWS. Russian pork producers received the right to supply to the Vietnamese market. This is stated in the message of the Russian agricultural supervision. “During the visit of the Russian delegation to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Russian agricultural supervision agreed with the Department of Veterinary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Development of Vietnam (DAH) the conditions for the supply of Russian pork and pork offal to the Vietnamese market, and also signed the relevant veterinary certificate. This will allow Russian DAH approved enterprises to sell pig products in the domestic market of Vietnam", the report says.

As specified in the Russian department, deliveries can begin immediately with approved enterprises. The list of Russian pig-breeding enterprises admitted to the Vietnamese market will be posted on the DAH official website in the near future. Russian pork producers see Southeast Asia as a priority export destination. The most significant for them will be the opening of the mainland China market, the prospects of which aren't clear yet.
