OREANDA-NEWS   By the end of 2025, sales of domestic agricultural machinery in the domestic market fell by 21 percent, to 155.1 billion rubles, while exports fell by 13 percent, to 15.6 billion. This is reported by Vedomosti with reference to data from Rosspetsmash (which unites manufacturers responsible for 80 percent of output).

The situation has worsened for almost the entire product range. So, in the domestic market, combine harvesters and tractors lost 31 percent each, plows — 2 percent, seeders — 5 percent. A 44 percent increase is observed only in fertilizer machines, but their number is relatively small — 384 units per year.

In 2024, shipments of machinery to the domestic market fell by 18 percent, meaning the situation even worsened last year. The government, explaining the negative dynamics, referred to the high level of the key rate, which does not give farmers access to cheap loans, which, in turn, deprives them of the opportunity to upgrade the park.
