JOREANDA-NEWS On Thursday, December 14, Kaluga will host the grand opening of a new production facility of JSC AMO, previously this plant belonged to Volvo Trucks, the press service of the government of the Kaluga region reports.

It is emphasized that this was made possible thanks to the management of the new enterprise and the personal participation of Governor Vladislav Shapshi. Less than a week ago, he announced on his social media pages the imminent launch of assembly lines.

At the end of November, a new executive director of AMO JSC in Kaluga was appointed. It was Roman Petryaev, a native of the Ryazan government. He had already discussed plans and prospects at the meeting with Noodles.

Literally at the end of last week, the assembly process of Ural trucks with 6x4 and 6x6 wheel formulas was tested at the plant. It is planned that they will be produced under the AMO or Next brands.
