OREANDA-NEWS   Google excluded Russia from the list of countries in the "Year in Search" project, which annually demonstrates the most popular search queries in a particular territory. This is reported by TASS with reference to the company's press service.

"There will not be a Year in search," the agency was told in response to a question about whether Google will publish data on the most popular search queries of Russians in 2022. No other details are given.

On the project page, Russia is included in the list of countries for which information is not available. This list also includes Belarus, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Latvia and a number of other states.

In early December, Google published a list of the most popular search queries in 2022, analyzing data from around the world. The most common search query in the world in 2022, according to Google, was the Wordle game, in which you need to guess words. The company also named the person whose information users most often searched for, and the most popular movie of the year.
