OREANDA-NEWS  Apple has excluded the Russian messenger "Max" from the AppStore app store without explaining the reasons. The details of such a step by a Western company on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) were revealed by the head of the Ministry of Finance Maksut Shadaev, RIA Novosti writes.

"Apple is disabling the Max app and removing it from the App Store. We do not have any explanations on this topic," the head of the ministry said.

According to Shadaev, the daily audience of the platform is more than 60 million people, of which about 25-30 percent are users of iOS devices. Thus, by its decision, the company imposed restrictions on more than 20 million users, the minister added.

Earlier it was reported that by excluding "Max" from the App Store, Apple deprived the service of the ability to send notifications to users. It was clarified that messages will still be delivered and all messenger functions will remain available.
