In 2020, the company presented a plan according to which the "Huawei" stock ownership program should cover over 121.2 thousand employees. Last year, according to the calculations of the resource, about 12 thousand employees of the company received dividends on shares. "Huawei" paid 1.58 yuan (about 25 cents) for each share in 2021, and in 2020 this figure was 1.86 yuan.
Dividends have become an important source of income for "Huawei" employees along with salaries and various bonuses. In 2020, according to official data, the company spent about 139 billion yuan (about $ 21.8 billion) on various payments to employees.
Since 2019, "Huawei" has been under severe pressure due to the US sanctions imposed against it.
In 2020, Huawei's net profit amounted to 64.6 billion yuan (about $10.1 billion), which was 3.2% higher than in 2019, and total sales revenue increased by 3.8% year-on-year to 891.4 billion yuan (about $139.4 billion).
