OREANDA-NEWS. Senator Alexei Pushkov was surprised at the political situation in Ukraine after NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov said about the threat from Russia.

Earlier, Danilov commented on the statement of the head of the main intelligence directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov about the "impending invasion" of Ukraine, stating that he does not see the threats that Budanov speaks of, but "as long as we have the Russian Federation nearby, there is always a threat."

"Will they ever figure out what they see and what they don't see there in Kiev? Or is there a clash between supporters of war with Russia and its opponents in Kiev? Or are different departments measuring their influence?" - wrote the parliamentarian in his Telegram channel.
He noted that such discrepancies devalue the statements of Kiev officials and suggested that they "are made by order from the outside - to warm up the anti-Russian campaign in the West and organize maximum pressure on Moscow."

The Kremlin called the allegations of Russia's preparations for an invasion a targeted information campaign to increase tensions, in which they are trying to portray Moscow as a party that threatens the process of resolving the conflict in Donbass.
