OREANDA-NEWS. The site of the Central Election Commission of Russia was subjected to a DDOS attack.

Representatives of the agency wrote about it on the Telegram channel. Deputy Chairman of the Commission, Nikolay Bulaev, said that 240 thousand requests per second were coming to the site. According to him, someone has a “desire to test the system for its durability.”

A nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation proposed by President Vladimir Putin was initially scheduled for April 22, but then it was postponed because of coronavirus pandemic. Citizens can cast their votes from June 25 to July 1. Residents of two subjects of the Federation, Moscow and the Nizhny Novgorod Region, got the opportunity to vote in electronic form.
