The Russian Foreign Ministry Said That the United States and Its Allies are Conducting a Cyber Operation Against Russia

OREANDA-NEWS. The United States and its allies are waging a cyber war against Russia, which often turns into terrorism. This was stated in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that every day powerful blows with the use of modernized information and communication technologies fall on Russian government agencies, the media, critical infrastructure facilities, and life support systems.
“At the suggestion of the Kiev regime, an “international call” has been announced for anti-Russian computer specialists, who, in fact, form “offensive cyber forces”. The bill for malicious attacks against us goes to hundreds of thousands per day, ”the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
According to the department, the level of attacks demonstrates that anonymous hackers and provocateurs, the so-called cyber mercenaries, “acting on the instructions of the Western curators of the Kiev regime,” are participating in the cyber operation against the Russian Federation.
On March 25, Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Russia, a third-class state adviser Andrei Ilnitsky said that the United States had unleashed a new type of war against Russia - a mental one.
According to him, Western countries avoid direct military conflicts with Russia because of the prospect of defeat and the unacceptable damage that would be achieved by nuclear weapons and a modern Russian army. The adviser to the head of the Russian Defense Ministry noted that this excludes the possibility of war for the next 10 years.
He stressed that this was the reason for organizing an information-hybrid war.
“If in classical wars the goal is to destroy the enemy’s manpower, in modern cyber wars it is to destroy the enemy’s infrastructure, then the goal of the new war is to destroy self-consciousness, change the mental – civilizational – basis of the enemy’s society,” Ilnitsky specified.
The adviser to the secretary of defense added that the consequences of mental warfare become visible only after a generation, when it is no longer possible to "reverse the course of the evolution of consciousness."
