OREANDA-NEWS Commander of the Unmanned Aviation Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Robert Brovdi, also known under the pseudonym Magyar, reported that the Starlink satellite Internet system had stopped working along the entire front line. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
He later clarified that communication had gradually begun to recover. He called the reason for this a global failure on the part of the SpaceX operator company.
On July 25, there was also a large-scale failure of Starlink. Satellite terminals have stopped working all over the world, including along the entire front line in the area of the special operation in Ukraine. At that time, the Russian military-industrial complex revealed that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost access to Starlink for more than a day, this could lead to disorganization and the collapse of the front. Ukraine is building a command and control system on the satellite Internet, interaction between units, coordination of defensive and offensive actions, intelligence and management of many military operations.
