Russian youth volleyball teams allowed to participate in tournaments in Europe under the flag of the Russian Federation

OREANDA-NEWS The European Volleyball Confederation (ECB) has decided to allow Russian national youth teams to participate in European tournaments. This is reported on the website of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation.
Russians will participate in the competition in full–fledged status - under the flag and anthem of the Russian Federation.
First of all, we are talking about tournaments that are qualifiers for world competitions.
"The operational aspects and practical implementation of this approach will be developed and submitted to the CEV Administrative Council additionally," the statement said.
It is noted that the decision of the ECB follows the decision of the International Volleyball Federation on the admission of young athletes, previously published in December 2025.
