OREANDA-NEWS  VK consolidated the Uchi.ru online platform, buying out the remaining 75% for 8.7 billion rubles. This was reported in the press service of the company.

"VK has consolidated the largest online platform for schoolchildren, Uchi.ru, by purchasing the remaining 75% stake. The deal amounted to 8.7 billion rubles," the press service said, noting that this will increase VK's weight in the additional school education.

The company has been cooperating with Uchi.ru for two years now, said Alexander Aivazov, VK senior vice president for investment and business development. He added that after the deal, VK will continue to invest in the development of school education in Russia and take an active part in this process.

The VK perimeter already includes such educational services as Skillbox, GeekBrains, SkillFactory, Umskul, Tetrika, Sferum and others.

Uchi.ru is the largest online educational platform in Russia, whose products are used by more than 12 million students, 6 million parents and 800 thousand teachers.
