OREANDA-NEWS  The head of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, announced the organization of daily gas supplies to China. This is reported in the Telegram channel of the company.

Miller's message says that Gazprom organized the delivery of daily volumes in China a few days ahead of schedule — the partners asked the company to do this. "Thus, since January 1, 2023, Gazprom has reached a fundamentally new level of gas supplies to China," concluded the head of the company.

The businessman stressed that such actions allow us to talk about Gazprom as a responsible supplier and reliable partner, as well as about China's interest in supplying Russian pipeline gas.

In conclusion, the head of Gazprom stressed that the development of the Chinese direction is connected with two promising routes — from the Far East and through Mongolia. "A contract has been signed for the first one, the second route is being worked out. The total volume of annual deliveries on three routes is about 100 billion cubic meters of gas," Miller assured.

Earlier it became known that Gazprom produced 412.6 billion cubic meters of gas in 2022. The head of the organization said that the primary task for the company remains to provide gas to Russians.
