OREANDA-NEWS  In January-July 2025, the oil and gas revenues of the Russian budget amounted to 5 trillion 522 billion rubles. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.

Compared to the same period last year, the decrease is estimated at 18.5 percent. The reason for this trend is indicated by a decrease in the average oil price.

As for non-oil and gas revenues, they amounted to 14 trillion 793 billion rubles. This is 14 percent more than in January-July 2024. The increase in turnover tax receipts, including VAT, in January-July is estimated at 6.7 percent.

Earlier it was reported that the dollar value of a barrel of a key Russian brand of oil, determined for tax purposes, although it increased month-on-month from 52.1 to 59.8 dollars in June, still remained almost ten dollars below its level of 69.6 dollars a year ago.

According to Bloomberg, in July 2025, the Russian budget received 710 billion rubles in oil taxes, or 33 percent less than a year ago.
