OREANDA-NEWS. According to the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the «Opposition Platform - For Life» Vadim Rabinovich, Ukraine is on the verge of an energy catastrophe after a quarrel with the authorities of the Russian Federation and Belarus.

At the same time, the deputy stressed that he did not exaggerate the scale of the coming tragedy, speaking about the crisis. He is convinced that after the wrong actions of the Ukrainian government, all that remains is to ask for help and energy resources from the EU countries.

As Rabinovich himself recently said: «Those who told us: don’t take gas and electricity in Russia, and this is Lithuania and Moldova, quickly bought everything themselves when it came to talking about their peoples. And what is left for the Ukrainians? To endure and freeze?»

We will remind that earlier the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba stated that by 2023 the republic is planned to be disconnected from the energy systems of Russia and Belarus. After that, the Ukrainian authorities intend to conclude an agreement on the supply of electricity from the EU.

Since November 1, according to some reports, gas imports from Russia. In Ukraine, it has decreased by about a third.
