September 09, 2016.  Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in customer management, has won the Consumidor Moderno Customer Care Excellence Award in the IVR category, marking the sixth time Convergys has received the award. Consumidor Moderno, a Brazilian magazine focused on the contact center industry, determined the winner based on direct evaluations from customers.

According to Roberto Meir, Consumidor Moderno’s founder and publisher, “The Consumidor Moderno Customer Service Excellence award is the most prestigious recognition within the Customer Relationship industry among companies in the Brazilian market. This award aims at identifying and evaluating best practices and strategies for customer relationship in Brazil. The award was presented in S?o Paolo during a black-tie award ceremony known as the “Brazilian Service Oscars.” Convergys was also featured on the cover of Consumidor Moderno magazine and highlighted in a special winners issue.
