OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2016. Mike Scimo and Henry Johnson have joined Cushman & Wakefield as Vice Chairman of Global Occupier Services. Mike and Henry will co-lead a Los Angeles based platform focused exclusively on optimizing the global real estate and facilities portfolios of the Fortune 500 through the integrated delivery of strategic planning, portfolio/lease database administration, transaction management, project/construction management and facility management services.

Both Mike and Henry will be based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Los Angeles office.


Joe Stettinius, Chief Executive of Cushman & Wakefield, Americas, said that the combined 54 years’ experience Mike and Henry bring to the firm, adds depth and expertise to the company’s platform and accelerates the momentum ignited by the merger with DTZ in September 2015.

Mr. Scimo brings 25 years of industry and leadership experience to the firm including 16 years with Trammell Crow Company, and nine years at CBRE, where he served most recently as Vice Chairman, Global Corporate Services. At CBRE, he co-led one of the company’s largest Occupier Services platforms providing exclusive strategic advisory, transaction management, lease administration, project management and brokerage services to multiple Fortune 500 Corporations occupying more than 150 million square feet of corporate real estate and facilities in more than 67 countries around the world.

Mr. Johnson’s industry career spans 29 years including 20 years as Executive Vice President, Managing Director at Trammell Crow Company, and nine years at CBRE, where he was a Vice Chairman of Global Corporate Services. Mr. Johnson has served in a number of leadership roles in areas such as, strategic portfolio planning, real estate development, transaction management, and strategic portfolio planning. He has personally handled negotiations for several clients’ world headquarters and other strategic and critical acquisitions and dispositions.

Mike and Henry’s past experiences include the oversight and execution of transactions totaling more than 600 million square feet, globally, and valued in excess of \\$12.6 Billion, as well as direct leadership and P&L responsibility for a national operating business unit responsible for transaction management, brokerage professionals and administrative support located across the United States and in key international markets.
