OREANDA-NEWS. From January 2020 to July 2020, the demand for studio apartments in Moscow has increased. This increase was 20 percent when compared with the same indicator in 2019. This became known from the materials of the "United Group of Real Estate Companies" (OGRK).

According to data provided by realtors, in July the number of clients interested in particular studios increased by 19 percent compared to the number of buyers in June 2020 and by 31 percent compared to July 2019.

The most popular studio apartments from developers in Moscow are starting to be offered from 3.5 million rubles in New Moscow and from 4.7 million rubles in the old city boundaries. The cost of the most prestigious studios on the primary market reaches tens of millions of rubles.

There are about 670 studio apartments on the secondary housing market in Moscow. The cheapest studio can be bought for 1.8 million rubles. And the most expensive object costs as much as 19.3 million.

“Studio apartments appeared on the real estate market about 15 years ago. Now this housing format is the main alternative to one-room apartments. The main advantage of the studios is the lower price. As a rule, the cost of such apartments is 15-20 percent lower, ”conclude realtors.

In June, news appeared that the smallest studio, with an area of ​​10.6 square meters, was offered to buy on the Moscow market of new buildings for 3.1 million rubles.
