OREANDA-NEWS German sports brands Adidas and Puma continue to accept applications for the supply of the 2023 collection from Russian retailers, Izvestia writes, citing a source in one of the companies. The publication clarified that brands continue to ship their goods to Russian retail chains. Earlier, sportswear manufacturers Adidas and Puma announced the suspension of the supply of their products and the operation of flagship stores in Russia against the backdrop of the start of a special operation in Ukraine.

"Brands continue to ship their products to retail chains in the Russian Federation. Basically, companies do this through distributors," the publication said.

In March, more than 200 companies announced the suspension of work in Russia. Among them were such firms as Nike, Adidas, Lego, Samsung, IKEA, Apple and others.

The head of Surenkok Moscow, Omur Surenkok, who promotes Turkish business in Russia, said earlier that some Turkish clothing brands plan to enter the Russian market. It is noted that the companies are already negotiating with Russian operators in this area. We are talking about the brands adL, Mudo, LTB, Twist and Ipekyol. In total, it is planned to open more than 100 outlets in Moscow and the regions.
