OREANDA-NEWS Russia's largest foreign trade partners are China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey and India, Roman Chekushov, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, told RIA Novosti in an interview.
"Traditionally, China is in the first place, of course… The second and third places are occupied by our partners in the Eurasian Economic Union – Belarus and Kazakhstan. It is gratifying that the fourth and fifth places are in non–CIS countries: Turkey and India," said Chekushov.
He stressed that Turkish partners "are actively working with Russian non-energy products." In addition, transport and logistics connectivity is also developing. Thus, the Azov-Black Sea basin is once again becoming a convenient logistical route.
