OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Railways presented on Thursday a suburban diesel train with a new push-pull technology for Russia, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

This is the DP2D train. It is intended for use on non-electrified sections of railways. It was built by the Russian Transmashholding (tmh). Kirill Lipa, CEO of TMH, announced the development of a new passenger train platform with push-pull technology in an interview with RIA Novosti in July 2023.
