OREANDA-NEWS  A new train station will be operational in Moscow in 2025. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his Telegram channel.

We are talking about the Petrovsko-Razumovskaya railway station on MCD-1 in the north of the city. Sobyanin noted that it will help ensure a comfortable transfer between the first and third diameters, two metro lines and ground transportation. At the moment, the mayor said, the readiness of the station is about 78 percent: at the moment, the decoration of the premises and the installation of engineering systems are underway, as well as the installation of a glass mosaic facade with an area of almost 5,000 squares and the commissioning of elevators and escalators. He stressed that specialists are engaged in all work that may affect train traffic only at night, during hours when trains are not running.

"In the future, we will move the MCD-3 stop closer to the metro and MCD-1, and the transfer time between all modes of transport will be reduced several times," said the mayor of Moscow, adding that in five years up to 11 thousand passengers will use the station annually. The new facility will improve transport accessibility for the population of Butyrsky district, Timiryazevsky and Marfino, where almost 200 thousand people live in total.

Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin demonstrated the interior of the future Narodnoe Opolchenie metro station. By mid-March, the corresponding facility was 55 percent ready.
