A ship from China sank off the coast of Sakhalin

OREANDA-NEWS The vessel Yong Sheng 56 under the flag of the People's Republic of China (PRC) sank in the Tatar Strait off the coast of Sakhalin. This was reported to TASS by the press service of Rosmorrechflot.
As a result of the incident with the foreign cargo ship, no one was injured. Rosmorrechflot explained that the crew of 21 citizens of the People's Republic of China went on the ice, and then was taken on board the arriving vessel.
Representatives of the Russian side noted that the incident occurred in the waters of the Tatar Strait 42 miles south-southwest of the seaport of Vanino.
In December 2022, a fishing vessel with 12 people on board suffered a disaster on Sakhalin. Then 13 people were rescued. All crew members were evacuated to the raft.
Before that, there was a fire on the Sunfish vessel in the Sea of Okhotsk, 104 people were on board. One of the cabins on the trawler caught fire, the fire spread to the galley.
