OREANDA-NEWS The representative of the Congo is discussing with the Russian company Kamaz an increase in the export of Russian trucks, as well as the creation of an assembly production of these cars in Kinshasa, the Ambassador of the DRC to Russia Ivan Wangu Ngimbi told.

According to the Congolese diplomat, he had previously held a meeting with the head of the Kamaz company, during which, among other things, they discussed the supply of Russian trucks to DR Congo "in larger quantities."

"In addition to (supplying) spare parts, maintenance and driving training for these vehicles, we are also discussing the possibility of creating a Kamaz car assembly plant in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the future," the ambassador said.

He noted that Russian Kamaz trucks are very well known in the DRC and local users "appreciate their quality."
