The governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit noted that it is planned to launch new equipment on the route "Oncocenter - Moscow Square" in December. "The electric bus does not depend on the contact network, and this solves the problem of downtime during breaks and accidents on the roadway. The declared service life is 10 years. The development of electric transport contributes not only to the improvement of the environment by reducing the amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere, but also to the overall improvement of the transport system," Starovoit's words are quoted in the message.

Samat Sattarov, Director of Passenger Transport at Kamaz PJSC, recalled that Kamaz-6282 electric buses have already proven themselves on Moscow routes. "It is gratifying that now this innovative transport will be available to the residents of Kursk. It is also important that today our passenger electric transport is produced with sanction-resistant components, which means that passenger carriers will not have problems with its subsequent maintenance," the press service quotes him.
