OREANDA-NEWS  This spring, dealers are going to import into Russia several cars new to the country for parallel import. Among them are Dongfeng E70 and HiPhi Z electric cars, Mazda Atenza, Mazda CX-4, Toyota Avalon and electric Avatr 11. This was reported by Prime with reference to the interviewed dealers.

"We plan to continue importing significant shipments of cars of Toyota, Mazda, Volkswagen, Skoda, Audi, BMW, Mercedes brands, including such new models for our market as Mazda Atenza, Mazda CX-4, Toyota Avalon," Yulia Ovchinnikova, Development Director of Klyuchavto auto holding, told the agency.

Sergey Melyukh, Director of Avilon Electro, announced plans to supply Avatr 11, Dongfeng E70, and HiPhi Z models. He noted that previously these brands were not represented on the Russian market. According to him, now the company sees the potential for growth in sales of electric vehicles.

At the same time, the association "Russian Automobile Dealers" informed Prime that they do not expect a large volume of parallel imports, despite the novelties on the market.

On the eve of RIA Novosti, citing a source, reported that the Ministry of Industry and Trade added 12 brands of cars to the list of parallel imports.
