OREANDA-NEWS The rules for transporting fuel across the Crimean Bridge will change from August 4, from now on fuel can only be transported in special containers, the operational channel of the information center reported on the situation at the transport crossing.

"Starting from August 4, the rules for the transportation of gasoline and diesel fuel across the Crimean Bridge are being changed," the report says.

Now, fuel can only be transported in special cans made of steel, aluminum or chemically resistant antistatic plastic marked "fuel and lubricants", "Flammable", fuel, gasoline, petrol, UN sign or flame icon, the information center clarified.

The total limit remains the same - up to 200 liters of fuel per car, there are no plans to change it.

Containers that are not illuminated by a flashlight during inspection must also be checked on an introscope, since dangerous items have already been tried to be transported inside, the information center reported.

The volume of one canister is no more than 40 liters, filling is a maximum of 95%, taking into account the thermal expansion of the fuel. The canister must be intact, airtight, tightly closed and not spilled, without dents, cracks, or fuel leaks. At the request of the employee, the canister will need to be carried through an introscope.
