OREANDA-NEWS  Pobeda Airlines increased its RAS net profit by 42% to 21.3 billion rubles in 2023, the carrier's press service reported.

The figure was the highest for the entire time of the company's operation, which began flying in 2014. The previous maximum - 15 billion rubles - was reached in 2022. He was provided with other income, which amounted to about 47 billion rubles, including 15.1 billion rubles from state subsidies.

Net profit for 2023 is also "fully generated by additional revenues in the amount of 21.278 billion rubles. due to the successful insurance settlement of obligations for 12 aircraft," the press service explained.

"In accordance with the approved investment program, the airline will allocate the bulk of its available funds to maintain the airworthiness of aircraft. By the end of 2022, the airline directed all net profit in the amount of RUB 15,017 billion, including, among other things, the significant impact of a non-monetary positive revaluation of leasing obligations, to the insurance settlement of aircraft obligations," the company noted.

Pobeda's revenue increased by 57% to 92.4 billion rubles, and the cost of sales increased by 28% to 84.7 billion rubles.
