OREANDA-NEWS  Solaris cars, which are assembled at the former Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg, will cost from two million rubles. The official prices for Hyundai and Kia analogues in Russia were named by AGR Automotive Group (LLC "AGR").

An analogue of Hyundai Solaris, Solaris HS in the basic configuration with a 1.4-liter engine with a capacity of 100 horsepower and a manual transmission will cost buyers 2.01 million rubles. In the most expensive version of the Sportline Elegance, a sedan with a more powerful engine and an automatic transmission will cost 2.21 million rubles.

An analogue of the Hyundai Creta, Solaris HC in the Classic configuration was estimated at 2.49 million rubles. The crossover is equipped with a 1.6-liter engine with 123 horsepower and automatic transmission. An all-wheel drive car will cost 18 thousand rubles more. In the maximum configuration, the car will cost 2.82 million rubles.

An analogue of the Kia Rio called KRS is sold in three versions with a 1.6-liter engine and an automatic transmission. Its cost will range from 2,038 to 2.17 million rubles. An analogue of the Rio X-Line, the Solaris KRX is sold in five versions, its cost will range from 2.06 to 2.34 million rubles.

The closing of the deal for the acquisition of the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus (HMMR Hyundai) plant in St. Petersburg became known at the end of January. In addition to this enterprise, the former GM plant also turned out to be owned by Art Finance.

AGR Automotive Group announced the launch of production of a new Solaris car brand at the former Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg in February 2024. The company did not explain how the new production will be connected with the former owners of the enterprise, including where the components will come from.
