OREANDA-NEWS Russia is ready to create additional capacities in Kazakhstan for the assembly of Lada cars. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin following the results of the Russian-Kazakh negotiations.

"Our countries are implementing a number of major joint industrial cooperation projects, such as the production of vinyl chloride and other chemical products, mineral fertilizers. Work is underway to increase the localization of Lada car assembly in Kazakhstan," Putin said. "We are ready to deepen this cooperation, to create additional capacities on the territory of Kazakhstan, to transfer certain technologies and competencies," the Russian leader added.
