OREANDA-NEWS The ban on the entry of trucks from the European Union, Great Britain, Norway and Ukraine into Russia has been extended by the government of the Russian Federation. The Cabinet of Ministers announced this in its telegram channel.

It is stated that restrictive measures will remain in effect until the listed countries eliminate "the circumstances that served as the basis for their introduction."

The exceptions are the transportation of mail, diplomatic mail and humanitarian aid. Technical support trucks will also be removed from restrictions to transport equipment and sports cars to the venues of sports competitions.

The ban was introduced in 2022 as a response to the decision of the European Union not to allow cargo vehicles with Russian and Belarusian license plates.
