OREANDA-NEWS  Russia will open a second air corridor for flights to the south from June 12, RBC writes, citing sources in two airlines.

According to one of the interlocutors of the publication, the pilots have already received notifications about upcoming changes in the airspace. Informed about the new route and the airline, said another source. The opening of the second air corridor will increase the capacity and reduce the flight time, the publication says.

"The corridor opened in August 2022 missed no more than fifteen flights per hour," the material says.

We are talking about an air route ten kilometers wide. The interlocutors of RBC claim that it can be used by airlines operating flights from Moscow to Sochi, to Turkish airports and back. Flights over this limit and to other destinations fly through the airspace of Kazakhstan.
