OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Railways (RZD) has established a coordination headquarters for the operational supply of fuel to the Russian regions. This was announced by the company itself, indicating that the main task of the structure will be to ensure stable acceptance of oil cargoes for transportation, taking into account the operational situation.
Russian Railways pays special attention to the supply of jet fuel to airports in order to prevent fuel shortages. It is also reported on the search for optimal solutions for receiving goods in the most difficult directions and trying to accept the maximum possible volumes.
"Russian Railways, in close cooperation with oil companies, flexibly adapt to changing conditions and are ready to quickly adjust the operating technology," the company stressed.
Earlier, Yuri Stankevich, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Energy, warned that a difficult fuel supply situation was developing in key Russian agricultural regions such as the Voronezh Region, the Volga Region and the Krasnodar Territory. According to him, the price of fuel for agricultural producers is rising, but sometimes it is difficult to get it even at high prices.
Meanwhile, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia accused three oil traders of violating antimonopoly laws, which led to an increase in stock prices for fuel. According to the agency, they coordinated the purchase of all available volume, after which they resold it to bona fide market participants.
