OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Railways Holding has organized an agroexpress with oat flakes and cereals from the Urals to India along the eastern route of the international transport corridor (MTK) "North – South", the company reported on the Telegram channel.

"We sent a train with oatmeal from the Urals to India. Russian Railways Logistics has organized a multimodal transportation of Agroexpress with oat flakes and cereals to India along the eastern route of the North–South international transport corridor," Russian Railways said in a statement.

Thirty-one twenty-foot containers were loaded at the LLC Resurs TM Uvelka enterprise and shipped from the Yuzhnouralsky TLC (Formachevo station, Chelyabinsk Region) to the Sarakhs station in Turkmenistan.

There, the containers will be reloaded to a gauge of 1,435 millimeters, will travel through Iran to the port of Bandar Abbas and then by sea to the Indian port of Mundra. "The planned travel time to the destination port is 35 days," Russian Railways clarifies.
