OREANDA-NEWS  JSC Mineralnye Vody International Airport (part of the Novaport holding) has signed an agreement on the construction of a new domestic air terminal with the Russian-Turkish Limakmarashstroy, the airport's press service reports.

Work under the contract should begin in mid-April 2023 and be completed in January 2025.

The amount of the contract is 13.98 billion rubles.

The area of the new terminal will be 28 thousand square meters. meters. It will increase the capacity to 1 thousand passengers per hour, or up to 3.8 million per year. The facility will be equipped with five telescopic ladders, modern passenger service and baggage handling systems.

In addition to the construction of a new turnkey terminal building, the general contractor will lay engineering and communication networks, as well as carry out landscaping of the forecourt.

Last year, Creditinvest LLC (operator of the Mineralnye Vody International Airport) announced the purchase for the construction of a new airport terminal complex of domestic air lines. The initial (maximum) price of the contract was 11.568 billion rubles.

In March, the Minister of Roads and Transport of the region, Yevgeny Shtepa, told reporters that the total amount of financing for the project would amount to 14 billion rubles. The completion date is the beginning of 2025.
