Russians began to resell Chinese cars more often

OREANDA-NEWS In the spring of 2024, the supply of Chinese used cars on Russian marketplaces increased dramatically. This is reported by Kommersant with reference to statistical data from Avito Auto analysts.
In annual terms, the supply of Chinese used cars on the above-mentioned marketplace increased by 71.6 percent. In turn, the demand for such cars among Russians increased by 15.2 percent over this period of time.
Geely cars became the leader in the number of resale ads, accounting for 22.7 percent of all such offers. Used Chery cars came in second place (21.3 percent), and used Haval cars closed the top 3 (10 percent). The average cost of the first was 2.4 million rubles, the second — 1.6 million, the third - 2.2 million, experts summarized.
Earlier, Autostat-Info reported that the most popular used cars in Russia by the end of January 2024 were Chery cars. In the first month of the year, their sales increased by 25 percent compared to the same period in 2023, to 3,047 units.
