Sales of AvtoVAZ increased in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS Sales of AvtoVAZ in Russia in May amounted to 23.9 thousand Lada cars, Maxim Sokolov, president of the company, told reporters on the sidelines of the CIPR-2023.
This is four times higher than in May last year, but 15% lower than the results of April this year, follows from open official data.
"23,904 cars were sold for the whole of May," Sokolov said, adding that the result was even slightly higher than the planned plan.
The top manager also spoke about the production results of the month: so, in May, the automaker produced 21.5 thousand cars, taking into account the collective vacation between the May holidays and the end of May.
