OREANDA-NEWS Sales of new electric vehicles and hybrids in Russia in January-September almost doubled (+92.6%) and amounted to almost 98.7 thousand units, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade reported, citing data from the analytical company PPK (part of the Electronic Passport group of companies).

This company relies on data from the electronic vehicle passport system.

It is noted that the share of electric vehicles and hybrids in the total Russian new car market for nine months was 9.2% compared to 5.1% a year earlier.
