OREANDA-NEWS In Russia, sales of used cars decreased in September. Kommersant writes about this.

According to the publication, compared with August, sales could fall by about 10 percent. The reason was the increase in prices and interest rates on loans.

It is clarified that the demand for used cars continues to grow, but only in relation to last year. Vladimir Zhelobov, Sales Director of used cars of Avtodoma and Avtospeccenter, said that the overall growth is about 20 percent compared to last year.

At the end of September, Russian dealers predicted a 30% increase in prices for passenger cars.

Earlier it became known that cars in Russia have sharply risen in price due to the growth of scrap collection and the weakening of the ruble. Since August 1, the recommended retail prices have changed for 127 complete sets of cars, while in July the cost of only 52 modifications was revised.
