The company said that it is currently evaluating this possibility. Currently, only one model is on sale in Russia, the Knewstar 001 crossover coupe, with prices starting at 4.2 million rubles. In the first quarter of 2026, Knewstar sold 1,248 vehicles.
Earlier it became known that in April 2026, 47.7 thousand new Chinese-made passenger cars were sold in Russia, which is 14 percent less than a year earlier. Then the Russians purchased 55.7 thousand cars. The most popular brands in the middle of spring were Haval (16.5 thousand units), Geely (6.8 thousand), Changan (4.5 thousand), Jaecoo (3.4 thousand) and Jetour (2.9 thousand).
