OREANDA-NEWS  In January—June 2023, the demand for road freight transportation in Russia increased by 61%. In May—June, the indicator doubled compared to the same period in 2022, follows from the calculations of the exchange ATI.SU . The cost of services in a number of Russian destinations has increased on average by 38% over the year (10% over the past three months).

According to Kommersant, the demand in particular increased for road transport to new regions — Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. In addition, imported mainline tractors have risen in price by 55% compared to the fall of 2022 against the background of the weakening of the ruble and an increase in the recycling fee.
