The Federal Tax Service has published a list of cars that fall under the luxury tax

OREANDA-NEWS The Federal Tax Service has included 449 models in the list of cars subject to the so-called luxury tax, according to a message on the agency's website.
Among them are 275 models worth from 10 to 15 million rubles, released no more than ten years ago, and 174 models more expensive than 15 million, whose age does not exceed 20 years. The list includes such brands as Audi, Aston Martin, BMW, Bentley, Ferrari, Jaguar, Jeep, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rolls-Royce.
Just like last year, the list includes only one Russian brand - Aurus. But if earlier it was represented by only one model of the Senate, now four more have been added to it: a Limousine, an Armored Senate, a Long Senate and a Long Armored Senate.
In addition, five models of the Korean brand genesis, five of the Japanese Lexus and two of the American Cadillac are now subject to the tax.
The department recalled that the transport tax for these cars is calculated taking into account the increasing coefficient — in a triple amount. In the autumn of next year, their owners will receive the relevant tax notices for 2023. At the end of this year, car owners will have to pay tax for 2022. Last year's list of luxury cars included 345 models.
