OREANDA-NEWS Russian analysts have published the first rating of cargo transportation companies that cover the need for the economy to move goods and cargo, and also affect all areas of the consumer market. The initiator and author of the rating was the "Public Consumer Initiative".

LTL is a type of cargo transportation in which goods from several senders are combined into one car/container to deliver them to different destinations.

The rating took into account various economic, legal and financial indicators. Experts looked not only at revenue, the number of terminals in Russia and requests to Yandex, but also, for example, the availability of heavy trucks and low-tonnage transport, site traffic, the level of risks and much more.

Depending on this, the companies were divided into high-quality, dubious and risky. So, the first ones (AA, AB, BA) provide a certain level of quality and safety with no or minimal risks. Questionable (AC, BB, CA): the level of quality and safety is lower than that of the companies of the first group, while the number and (or) nature of risks are quite significant. Risky (BC, CB, CC) give a low level of quality and safety. Analysts noted that the third type of companies has significant risks.

In total, experts have included more than 25 cargo carriers in the list. At the same time, nine companies received the lowest SS rating, that is, "The company does not have the necessary resources to fulfill transportation obligations or their number is minimal. The company is characterized by a low level of financial reliability, stability and security and associated risks."

Business Lines became the only rating company that was assigned to Group AA. The resources available to the company make it possible to effectively fulfill the obligations assumed. The business is characterized by the highest level of reliability, stability and security. The company's revenue (52 billion rubles) was estimated at the maximum possible 1.00.Next in the ranking is the PEC, which has an AC indicator (the resources available to the company allow it to fulfill its obligations. However, the business is characterized by a low level of financial reliability, stability and security and associated risks). Revenue is 25.6 billion, and the final estimate was 3.27, while the leader of the rating — 3.87.

A significant number of players in this sphere are in the "gray zone", which entails many risks for society and the state. Non—payment of taxes, reduction in the quality of services, cargo incidents, an increase in the number of accidents, violation of drivers' rights - all this is a direct consequence of unfair practices in the market.

At the same level is the "Nord Fork", but it has the third place. Its revenue amounted to 478.8 million rubles. Business experts estimated it at 2.04.

Next is the company "Energia" (fourth place). Revenue amounted to more than 5 billion rubles.

Many carriers in the rating received a BC rating, which means "The resources available to the company correspond to the average level and allow them to fulfill their obligations with certain risks for the client. The company is characterized by a low level of financial reliability, stability and security and associated risks." One of these companies — "Sherl" — with revenue of more than 1.1 billion rubles — closed the top five.
