OREANDA-NEWS  Sales of the new Russian electric car "Atom" are planned to be launched in 2025. The plans were shared on November 22 by the executive director of the startup company JSC "Kama" for the production of this electric car, Harald Grubel.

"In 2023, we will show functional prototypes of Atom, and in 2025 we plan to start selling electric vehicles," he said during the round table "Electromotion as a new paradigm of the world" at the ATOMEXPO 2022 forum.

He pointed out that the company plans to "revolutionize the user experience."

"It's time to pay attention not only to improving the technical characteristics of the car, an important task is to change the format of the relationship between a person and an electric car," Grubel stressed.

He also noted that when developing Atom, the company takes into account the key needs of the younger generation.

On November 10, the press service of the startup "Kama" distributed the first photo of the electric car "Atom".

In October, it became known that the Russian startup "Kama" is going to buy a Ford plant in Naberezhnye Chelny.
