The type certificate confirms the aircraft's readiness for mass production and operation.

"Rostec's enterprises have carried out a deep modernization of almost all aircraft systems," First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said during the ceremony. - The aircraft is designed in a basic layout with 66 seats. It is equipped with new Russian turboprop engines, modern avionics, a digital flight and navigation system and an ergonomic passenger cabin interior."

Also, as part of the ceremony, an agreement was signed between STLC and the 2nd Arkhangelsk United Aviation Squadron for the leasing of the first three IL-114-300s. Il-114-300 - An upgraded version of the IL-114 turboprop aircraft with a passenger capacity of 50-68 people. It is intended to replace the outdated An-24 and AN-26. Delivery of three aircraft is expected in 2026 and approximately the same number in 2027, and production capacity will increase in the future, said Andrei Nikitin, head of the Ministry of Transport. One of the biggest interested parties in the car is the Far Eastern airline Aurora: it was reported that the first IL-114-300s are expected in the company only from 2028.

According to Manutrov, airlines are showing "great interest" in the IL-114-300, but due to the fact that the aircraft's contract "was disconnected from the process of completing certification procedures," a decrease in supplies is expected within one year. "But starting in 2029, even I hope that starting in 2028, it (production) will increase rhythmically in volume," Manturov said. Also, according to him, the car has "good prospects in terms of special tasks for the Ministry of Defense and for cargo transportation - if there is a wide side flap that will allow pallets to be loaded there."
